New Zealand, Pakistan and Bangladesh will play seven T20i matches in New Zealand ahead of the men's ICC T20 World Cup in October. The Pakistan Cricket Board has already expressed a strong desire to participate in the series, and Bangladesh will also visit New Zealand. The series will be essential and the finishing touch in preparations for all three of his teams ahead of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia. Host New Zealand has confirmed dates and venues for all seven of his T20I games in the series. All seven games will be played at the same venue, Christchurch's Hagley Oval, for the entire series, including the final.
The 2022 New Zealand Tri-Nation Series kicks off with the first T20I between Bangladesh and Pakistan on 7th October at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. New Zealand and Bangladesh will face off in the 3rd T20I on 9 October, followed by New Zealand and Pakistan in the 4th T20I on 11 October. 5. T20I will be played between NZ and Van on 12th October and the league match of the series will be played between Bangladesh and Pakistan on 13th October. Therefore, all three teams will play his four T20I matches, with the top two teams meeting in the finals to win the championship.
Kane Williamson is likely to play the role of Kiwi captain, while Babar Azam, who is visiting New Zealand for the first time as a skipper, will lead Pakistan, while Bangladesh will join, led by Mahmudullah.
